HSUS office in the news

 — Posted on 11 January 2017 | 4:12 pm

We’re very proud of our work at the office of the Humane Society of the United States in Washington DC, where we had great fun designing an office where employees could bring their dogs to work. While it may seem to be an obvious thing for the Humane Society to do, more companies and organizations are allowing companion pets into the workplace as an employee perk, not just for morale, but because employees often stay longer and work harder when they don’t have to worry about their pet waiting at home for dinner and a scratch on the head. (Yes, we are dog people. Our senior vice president for dog bowl affairs, Cosmo, has his own office in every one of the rooms in our building.)

We were pleased to learn that the Washington Business Journal published an article about the HSUS project, “Cool Offices: Working alongside man’s best friend at the Humane Society of the U.S.” Cosmo was a little disappointed that they didn’t call him for a quote, but we’ve told him we’ll forward all future calls about the project to his extension.

As we enter the season of Giving Thanks and Giving Gifts we would like to encourage those in our network to consider some of the wonderful organizations we have had the honor of working with over the years. So many of them do good work all year long and they all need support!
Thank you PFAW for being a wonderful client and for working hard in our communities every day!

greg(g) horgan has a new website

We would like to thank all of our current and former clients and associates. It is with great pride that we present an updated website for all to see. Going back through the nearly ten years of projects that we’ve worked on has been very gratifying, and has also magnified, for us, the most important part of our work: our clients. The conversations we have with them when we first meet, through the “idea” phase of a project to final materials selection, all the way through construction and the victorious final inspection and approval for occupancy. The thrill never gets old. Our clients are what makes our portfolio as strong as it is. We thank you.
